Better Not Broken LLC is a Michigan-based corporation assisting individuals and communities in their pursuit toward higher meaning and success. Founded and led by Marvin Cotton, Jr., the agency is an outgrowth of his personal triumphs over an upbringing marked by poverty as a result of structural racism as well as the overturning of a wrongful conviction.

Marvin's conviction and sentence was vacated after almost 20 years incarcerated for a crime it was determined he did not commit. He attributes this vindication to an unwavering faith through the experience that he would eventually be freed.

This experience inspired his advocacy toward equitable and just systems, but also his equipping of others to navigate oppressive systems and find great success.
